At University Hospital of Hamburg Eppendorf a system for building computer based 3D models of human anatomy called "VOXEL-MAN" was developed.
The very detailed inner organs model is based on the Visible-Human data obtained from photographical and computertomographical images of sectional anatomy.
Based on this model the anatomical simulations of longitudinal endoscopic ultrasound in this software are developed.

VOXEL-MAN 3D Navigator Inner Organs is an interactive anatomical and radiological software atlas of inner organs published at the Springer-Verlag. It is derived from the same anatomical model.
